Break With Win
Western Hills, Oh—
Steve Brown (Xavier University) lined a base hit into left
field bringing in pinch runner, Rick Betsch (Butler
University) from third and giving Cincinnati a bottom of the
ninth win, 7-6 over the Delaware Cows. Nate Fields (Ball
State Univ.) led the attack for the Steam going for 4-5 on
the night. On the mound Billy Kitchen (Indiana Univ.)
looked great coming in, in relief, pitching six innings and
picking up his first win of the year.
The Great Lakes Summer
