Jake Oester’s 9th
inning blast over the left field wall wasn’t enough to
overcome a 3 run deficit as the Delaware Cows beat the
Steam 5-3 on Sunday. The Cows’ pitcher Jay Jackson, went
5 innings allowing one hit and one unearned run to
secure the win. Matt Jackson earned his first save of
the season. The Steam are on the road this Wednesday but
return home on Thursday to play the Grand Lake Mariners
at 7:05.
