Cincinnati Wins Final

Western Hills, OH — With a packed stadium of around
500 fans, the Steam collected seven hits on way to a 4-2
victory over Xenia Athletes in Action. Leading
Cincinnati were Nate Fields (Ball State Univ), and Zach
Hurley (The Ohio State Univ.) both collecting two hits
on the night. Hurley also collected two walks a run
scored and an RBI on the game. Billy Kitchen (Indiana
Univ.) picked up his second win of the year coming in
and pitching three innings striking out three, and only
giving up one hit.
The
Steam which improved to 23-14 on the year play the
Southern Ohio Copperheads next in a double header on
their way towards the 2007 GLSCL Playoffs. Those games
will take place on August 1-4 at Bill Davis Stadium on
the campus of The Ohio State University. The playoff

Seedings will be determined after the conclusion of the
regular season this weekend.
