In the end, the Steam overcame three errors to down the
Copperheads behind timely play at the plate, on the
mound and in the field. The Steam defeated the #5 seed
to win the championship for the second consecutive year,
as they defeated the fifth-seeded Columbus All-Americans
for the victory last season. The Steam ended the
playoffs with a 3-1 record, ending their season with a
final record of 26-13.
