Columbus OH— The Copperheads jumped out to a
quick 2-0 after Matt Stiffler (Ohio University)
connected for his third homerun of the season in the
first inning. After the first frame, however, Charlie
Leesman (Xavier University) settled down and held the
bats silent until the sixth inning when the Copperheads
touched him for one more run. The Steam pushed a run
across in the top of the sixth when Ryan Stausborger
(Indiana St. University) grounded into a fielder’s
choice scoring Jake Oester (University of Toledo).
